For a lot of people it’s a hobby where they don’t bet more than they can afford.   My husband loves sports and to make it more fun he puts in $20 bets.  I don’t think it’s a “new generation” problem.  All ages do this betting and all ages will have a small percentage who think they can make money this way and end up losing tons [/quote]

What?  As a major major?   What are you doing when people are playing other than laughing?  It’s fun for a lot of people.  Low money gamblers know the odds and don’t care because they aren’t spending more than they can afford to lose.   [/quote]
