[/quote] Hundred percent true for me, I’ve been to open casket funerals that really started the grieving process and they ended much cleaner. The funerals I’ve been to where the casket is closed made the process just drag along. I saw my mother dead in a hospital bed, the next time I saw her she was in a silver urn, her death was real and the grieving process was clean. Due to Covid my children hadn’t seen their grandmother for about two months before her death, they only saw the urn that showed up at the house a few weeks later, there was never a funeral, no casket and they all had a sort of disordered grieving process that would come and go for a much longer period of time than mine.
