At some schools there are so many weighted classes that kids are graduating with 4.7+ GPAs. At our school - which sends dozens of kids to UVA every year, it’s not possible to get higher than a 4.5, and that’s if you got all As and took every single IB and AP class offered. And I know some of the kids getting into UVA from our school had weighted GPAs between 4 and 4.3. So I think a 4.2 is possible. A reach, yes. But still possible. [/quote]
