How is you dropping your TT school and your friends (ie, not you) working in senior roles different from posters here name dropping firms? In both cases, it’s an appeal to legitimacy.

I’ll go one step further than you and say that I personally have worked in senior roles at top consulting, banking, hedge fund roles (mostly HF and banking, did a short stint of tech consulting). And I would agree with the bulk of what previous replies have said. Talent is most densely concentrated at our best schools. [/quote]
