45 is fine but it shouldn't take more than an hour to heat up
What Temperature to Leave a Vacant House | Constellation https://share.google/uK238ekyWmLtOwtTk I recently researched this in advance of a winter time vacation and 45 is actually not fine.
It depends on the placement/insulation of pipes and if the 45 degree air can reach them etc. But it's a potentially expensive experiment. Very few people would have a valid reason to go as low as 45 with the potential for a plumbing and flooding disaster. But 45 for a rental unit that should be ready at check-in is 100% not fine. As a frame of reference, NYC mandates that dwellings be at least 68 from 6am-10pm and 62 overnight.
