I'm also someone who loves my IL's, and seems like we're very lucky. But I think on the "so much dysfunction on DCUM" point, it's more likely that you actually DO know families with DCUM dramas (some maybe just a little, some none, some big ones) but they do a very good job at covering it, which a lot of families do.  But scratch many surfaces and you find all kinds of hard stuff.[/quote]
