What is ridiculous is that few people have had more opportunities than Trump to actually DO the sorts of things that get people to name things like the Kennedy Center after you. Lots of wealthy families, including ones who made their money (or spent it) in morally questionable or even bankrupt ways, have figured out that there is a path towards still being loved by the masses. You just have to build things, yourself, for the masses. Carnegie built all those libraries. The Kennedy family contributed large sums to build the Kennedy Center and establish its organization, as well as other considerable donations to the arts, environmental causes, among others. The Pritzkers have given enormous sums to universities and the arts. And in so doing, they have gotten their names on all kinds of buildings, with all the trappings of such honors -- ribbon cutting and celebratory awards and lots of people talking loudly about these families' good works. Trump was born rich, given a big sum of money by his dad, and managed to make a lot of money in his life. Yet he's never chosen to do a single good work with any of it. When you think of the Trumps, what charitable endeavors do you think of? None. I think of golf courses and hotels and, oh yeah, being the dumbest, most vindictive, most destructive President in history. Trump OWNED an historical building in downtown DC, blocks from the White House. He could have done anything with it, including turning it into a museum or other public work that served the public in ANY way. And if he had, people would have to acknowledge that he had done something positive. Instead he turned it into a hotel where lobbyists and foreign dignitaries and businessmen could bribe him for favorable policies while drinking $20 cocktails in the lobby. He refuses to actually do any of the good works that generally gets rich and privileged people honored with their names on the sides of buildings. Even just donating a big sum of money to a school or nonprofit would do it. He refuses. But he still thinks he's owed the honor. Because he's the absolute worst possible person.
How did you forget to include that Trump actually founded a charity and STOLE FROM IT??? He’s not just Scrooge, he’s something way beyond that. He’s subhuman.
