Biden was president. Harris was not. Biden was the Chief Executive who signed off on executive orders that reversed many of the band-aid immigration/southern border orders that were in place to stem the flow of new arrivals. Harris was not. Harris never had the power to do anything substantive. Misplaced blame.[/quote]

This is a bs excuse.  There was plenty Biden could've done, like increasing border patrol and sending them back.  I'm not talking about those who had TPS status.  But those who claimed "asylum" when clearly they were just seeking better economic opportunities (which I can understand).

I voted for Biden because I loathe Trump with every fiber of my being.    But, Biden did nothing about the illegal immigration issues.  The videos and news stories of illegal immigrants being housed in hotels and given debit cards with cash in a time when Americans were having a hard time affording housing and groceries wasn't a good look on the Biden administration.

I loathe R TX Governor Abbott, but he played the Dems by [b]busing those illegal immigrants to blue cities.

Dems are not savvy, nor do they know how to play the political game.  [b] I will continue to vote for a D[/b] POTUS because MAGA/Rs have completely FUBARd the R party, and they are full of racist POS, but Dems need to up their game and fight a bit dirtier, like Gavin Newsom, whom I also detest. But, notice his popularity has risen since he started to parody Trump, and taking redistricting to the CA voters  (which won, yay) to fight against what TX was doing .  He's learned to fight MAGA at their level, and that is what is going to win.
