They use a really terrific phonics-based OG reading program in the early grades. In early grades, they use some of the LC writing program. They also explicitly teach spelling and cursive. 4-6 the writing instruction is not LC anymore. I have been happy, especially with the 6th grade writing instruction. It’s lots of structured persuasive writing and grammar instruction. [/quote]
