If I could do it all over again, this is what I would do.  Students are treated like convicts.  Yelled at between periods to rush to the next class.  Unable to use the bathroom because it is closed due to vaping.  chastised if they try to use it during lunch or class.  E-hall pass.  Metal detectors at the front door.

The diminishing quality of an FCPS education is the direct result of mismanagement by the School Board (just look at the boundary fiasco/ ndas), Michelle Reid, and an exceptionally-bloated Gatehouse.[/quote]

As far as all the wasted budget $$ in Gatehouse (the HQ for FCPS), it extends far beyond the building.

There are an excessive number of “assistant principals” now, and a well-known pipeline for failed principals leading directly to do-nothing jobs at Gatehouse.

Reid and the SB are entirely at fault for this situation. [/quote]
