She took a dig at how Bowser handled recent dealings with Trump, and I think Bowser did a fine job, what else was she supposed to do? I don’t think JLG can improve over Bowser on that.

I do think folks on the left active in DC politics are energized by Mamdani’s win and see JLG as the next Mamdani, and while I think policy wise she’s probably well aligned with him I’m not sure her campaign will unfold that way, the political landscape is just too different here.

I do think she has a good chance of winning but it’ll be close. I think we can just about predict the outcome, with McDuffie having a strong showing in Wards 3,7,8 and Janeese carrying wards 1 and 4, with 2,5,6 being more of a toss up, though perhaps 5 goes McDuffie.[/quote]
