[/quote] that was the correct move. if they didn't get in or were deferred, it wasn't about test scores. those helped. from our school, service moves the needle. especially if you can tie it to professional goals - ie EMT with interest in medicine, designed grey water system on mission trip to costa rica with interest in engineering.
