You'd think that, but they're not. As for the bit about them being less addictive, maybe? Having used both, I'll say they're differently dependency-forming. The withdrawals from both are bullshit I wouldn't suggest anyone go through if there were any way to avoid it, and since neither substance is life-saving, there is. Don't do addictive drugs and expect zero side-effects. If you're lucky, you might be one of the special people who doesn't develop an addiction. If you're not, you'll end up with worse anxiety than you started with, along with the same problems, and you'll need to do the work of figuring out non-substance coping skills either way. [/quote]
