It’s where the child sleeps at least 50% of the time. If parent A lives in one zone but only sees kid every other weekend, child is supposed to go where parent B lives. If it’s 50/50 custody, either address works.[/quote]

That's the rule, but personally, I would say the vast majority of people do not care at all if a kid goes to school in every-other-weekend-dad's school district. I mean, seriously, dad (or mom) is paying taxes there and their kid should be able to use the schools even if they spend more time with the other parent.
