Unless you are rich enough to buy a horse that won the Kentucky Derby already your only choice is to pick a horse you think will win that has not yet won yet. Then groom him, train him well enough to win place or show. I will give a real world example. I have a bachelor I know around 33. He has a weird beard, hair a bit messy clothes a little dated and wrinkled. Nice enough guy, but he really has no guidance. He is like a puppy dog, you tell him he will do it. But lacks any independent thought and is not self aware unless told point blank and then you take the time to show him. Like literrally take him to clothes store, litterally cut his hair. Make sure he leaves house well dressed and prepared. I am pretty sure this guy could be a SVP in 6-8 years. But he has no guidance. [/quote]
