Asbestos causes cancer and when you raze a building full of asbestos, you scatter it into the air, exposing people all around. It's why we have lots and lots of regulations about it. It would have been great if Bowser could have at least warned the public about this. But that would have required her to admit she allowing Trump to ignore her regulations, so she chose to stay silent.
You think Trump called her BEFORE he destroyed The People’s House? hahahahahahahahaha I’m now convinced that this faux concern is all about stirring things up to get Trump to focus his racist ass power tripping nastiness on yet another Black professional with power / Black female professional with power. You can’t articulate exactly what Bowser should do — just that she should do SOMETHING to somehow contain the dementor. Why aren’t you, instead, complaining about the dementor? smh
Seems like the very least Bowser could have done was warn the public that the White House was spreading carcinogens in the air, in an area where there are tens of thousands of people every day. The Bowser folks knew immediately this was happening. They send people over to take pictures of the project as soon as it began.
Seems like Trump could have followed appropriate procedures and the Feds — unless all of them were fired — could have warned the public that their behavior was endangering the public. Let the people running the show take accountability for their own actions. Isn’t that what the party of personal responsibility claims to espouse? It’s a federal problem created by federal impulsivity and deliberate negligence on federal property, in what they like to call the federal district . Feds should have informed the tens of thousands of people impacted. They broke it —they own it. I guess Bowser could have called out the DC National Guard to help with the situation, but… Oh, wait! Your boy views spreading carcinogens as potential future real estate opportunities.
Obviously, Trump should have followed the law. Perhaps you haven't noticed, but Trump is a giant *sshole who doesn't care about anyone except himself. I don't understand why that excuses Bowser from having to warn the public about a health hazard in the middle of the city. She didn't say boo because she didn't want to admit that she was giving Trump a pass.
