I remember going to an open house of an UWS feeder preschool mentioned on these boards. A current parent was talking about the exmissions process and their stress was palpable (I guess their kid was shy? per the parent, and so many kids were applying to independent schools). I felt bad for this person, but then I also thought to myself - ugh, I don't know if this is the best kind of environment.  [/quote]
