You need a UV lamp but they are dirt cheap these days. I get mine from Dashing Diva. I think the strips hold up way better than press ons. I wouldn’t die on this hill though. I’d let her get whatever as long as she paid for it with her own money. It’s just nails - yes the acrylics are rough on your nails and nail beds, but they’ll grow back! I don’t get the moral panic about this honestly. It’s a trend for young people. What looks fun and cute on them would look silly for 40-50 year old women and that’s ok. [/quote]
