No evidence for animals disappearing? Have you looked at the fossil layers (which were laid down by Noah’s flood)? There they are! Boomp! d’ere it is!

The flood mentioned in Gilgamesh may have been written before Moses but is not as accurate according to the facts. The book of Genesis records the true account. Ken Ham of AIG has more facts.

All over the world there are fossils on all the mountain tops, including Everest. To say this was all caused by separate floods then the mountains rose is a stretch but that is what you have to do to explain away the evidence.

The thickest glaciers are as deep as mountains tall. There are fish frozen giving birth. The global cooling from the Earth covered in water as well as other factors caused this flash freezing.

The book of Genesis, as is the entire Bible, speaks true. Only those who reject Jesus will reject Genesis which Jesus quoted from such as Jonah and concerning marriage: it is only valid if it is between a man and a woman.

Do you have any background in geology? This is an actual field of study? Peer reviewed reports that actually describe this? Should be headline news. I have no idea what the mountain idea proves. Entire continents moved because of plate tectonics.  You don't seem to believe in the timeline of the earth much less other scientific facts. There is rock from the African plate here in the DC area. The geologists at answersingenesis have many articles on this topic.

There are many people who think they are scientists, and some may even have a degree, parroting peer-reviewed poppycock: “Yup, professor Doodah says it is true so it must be! Bible not true. Case closed.”

What geologists claim is not based on evidence but assumption: there was no global flood, the Bible cannot possibly be true, so we will explain through a timeline of millions of years there was no global flood. Anyone who disagrees, we will declare they do not understand science and are uneducated.

All over the world we see creatures catastrophically and quickly buried in sediment becoming fossils. On the tallest mountains are sea creature fossils. Flying over the Appalachian mountains it is plain to see water shaped them.

Noah’s flood dramatically altered the face of the planet, not over millions of years but over the course of a few centuries.

What it comes down to is authority: either the Bible concerning historical events such as the origin of the species and global flood, or the science (so called) of men who think they know what happened.

We have seem many times the false knowledge of scientists: Piltdown man, phrenology, leechcraft, Haeckel’s gill slits and so many more.

And for the record, I took geology, biology, and anthropology as electives at a university. I was skeptical of their claims then and am certain now that their claims about human evolution and geology —no global flood! are unproven assertions which contradict the Bible, thus those claims are false.

Even if you took one course each at the college level in geology, biology, and anthropology, you either failed the classes or you went to Liberty University. Also, one class in each field does not make you knowledgeable or an expert.  :roll:

Your answersingenesis is nothing more than pseudoscience trying to masquerade as a genuine effort to reconcile facts and evidence with your pre-conceived, literal interpretation of creation according to the Bible. Pseudoscience is not science, and their claims are not supported by the evidence.

You fail badly every time you try to post this BS. [/quote]I did not fail the classes, I gave the “correct” answer to pass the exams, received my diploma and moved on. I did not go to Liberty U (I am not from VA) but a secular university. There was a definite  anti-Christian bias there.

I have taught my children to do the same when they attend university in a few years: do not argue with ignorant professors concerning human evolution and silly, unfounded claims that science has debunked the Bible. It has done no such thing. Study hard, give the “correct” answer (wink-wink, nod-nod); get the degree and move on.

When they were 5 years old and in elementary school, I would take them on nature walks, showing them God’s creation.

I explained to them God created the spider with the physical means to spin a web and programmed the instructions into its brain.

At night, I would read the Bible to them before bed time, teaching them God’s word, preparing their minds so that when they encounter butthead, butthole professors wise in their own eyes, they will know how to handle these ignorant people.

There are many millions of us born again, fundamentalist, Bible-believing Christians. We are not going away. We shall continue to preach the truth even when willfully ignorant people attempt to pass falsehoods masquerading as science.
