I do a version of this for all the camp gear that you pack once a year for sleepaway camp.  It all lives in the basement so it can be readied quickly without a whole lot of thought. Each kid also has a couple of dress shirts ironed and ready to go for picture day.  I have picked these up at Goodwill and enjoy knowing I didn't pay full price for something that will only be worn a few times.  I have a bag going at all times for a work colleague who is a foster parent who happily takes clothes that have become too small for my kids.  I will feel like I have it together when I get all the plastic little kid toys out of the basement without many going to the landfill but that is going to take some work.[/quote]
