Tattoos have from old been the mark of the criminal class, the drunk and drug addict. It is a foolish person, unwise and irresponsible, who gets a tattoo.

It is a black mark, a smirch on our culture, that so many people think getting a tattoo is a good thing.

Fortunately, I have imparted my vehement disdain for tattoos to my children who scowl with disgust when they see somebody with tattoos.
