Instead, many kids apply indiscriminately to a large number of prestige schools just to see where they can land. This overwhelming mass of applications is why admissions has become a crap shoot. I would be thrilled if my kid's top choice offered a few ED0 slots. They already know it is the best option for their major, but are not sure about vibe. The benefit of ED0 over ED1 is that the kid can actually try out the school before committing. [/quote]
