It is ironic that these same students felt comfortable going to a Masonic Temple for the event, despite the temple's restrictions on women in certain areas. The situation is quite perplexing, but it seems that these students perceived it as a safer option.  Another mom told me her kid overheard one of the students who complained telling others about it.
