[/quote] I lived in NJ for several years and I agree -- American City Diner is as good as it gets around here -- food varies in quality, but the ambiance and service is diner-style at its best. Tastee is a greasy spoon and I love the food and service at Silver Diner, but it's not a real diner. My kids, all born here and know in HS and college, practically grew up at American City Diner. The best part of doing the Northeast college tours with our older kids was familarizing them with real diners. [/quote]
