But I actually feel somewhat liberated in the last 10 years or so because it is no a bit more fashionable to wear a one piece (and there are more flattering and fashionable one pieces available) plus I think there is less pressure to be tan. So I feel less self-conscious now, wearing a more full coverage one piece (I even have one that is rash guard style so it covers my back and arms) and being pale, than I did a couple decades ago when I think that would have really made me stand out in a negative way at the pool.[/quote]
