But it doesn’t make sense bc it’s not about blue vs red state. It’s cities vs rural areas.  How would you divide it up?

Regardless of who promoted the idea originally, breaking up the US or at least providing regional autonomy makes a lot of sense.  There’s also precedence, for example Quebec/Canada, Catalonia/Spain, Scotland/UK.  Also the voluntary dissolution of Czechoslovakia in the 1990’s.  Honestly it’s the only realistic alternative we have given how hopelessly divided we are along tribal and cultural fault lines.[/quote][/quote]
