[/quote] DP here. I went to my daughter’s sorority formal for parents. This was in a midwestern state, not UVA like so many posters are pointing to. I was invited. I went. It really isn’t as deep as you’re trying to make it. It’s not because I wanted to relive my youth. It isn’t because I have a limited range of emotion. It’s not because I’m a MAGA republican like some poster suggested. (Which I’m not anyway.) I was invited. I went. But I suppose if you are the type of person who needs to tear others down to feel better about yourself, then you’re welcome to criticize me. Happy to provide that service for you. [/quote]
