I don’t care what a habitual liar claims about himself. In no way does he embrace or practice the teachings of Christ. He can say he is a Christian, but that doesn’t make it so. He doesn’t attend worship services except for occasional public appearances for politics’ sake. He doesn’t have a spiritual leader. He’s unfamiliar with the Bible. He is a liar and cheat. He does not love anyone else as he loves himself. He does not honor the Commandments. He does nothing to help the least among us. He never repents. He does not seek God’s guidance.

Lee Atwater was a conservative political consultant in the 80s and 90s. He got cancer and on his deathbed, he spoke movingly to colleagues about how much a Living Bible had meant to him. One of them noticed the Living Bible was still wrapped in cellophane and had never been opened. That’s the kind of “Christian” Trump is.
