My husband genuinely does not like a lot of makeup. He can’t be the only one? I do very light makeup most days and style my hair most days and I’ve stayed thin and dress nice enough most days. My opinion is some women have some kind of dysmorphia where they think they only look normal with a lot of makeup on and with hair done. I generally think women wearing a lot of makeup look like they’re wearing a lot of makeup. If that’s your thing and how you want to spend your time, sincerely seems great. It’s a hobby like anything else is how I look at it.
I'm a poster who said I do try to look nice (for everyone, not just my husband but even if I were only seeing him all day I would try not to look bad) and I don't wear much makeup either. I also wear comfortable clothes because I work from home at a desk job. But I brush my hair/put it up, I will put mascara on because I have blonde eyelashes, and I'll sometimes put some lip color on (if not then just chapstick). I wear well fitting comfortable clothes that show off my figure. But I'm not in a dress with heels and layers of foundation.
Given the fact that you WFH, that would be silly.
