Correct. They sent him to a school that MCPS has already decided to deprioritize.

B-CC is way too high profile. Way too many wealthy, connected, engaged and influential white parents who make noise.

By moving him to a part of the county that's Blacker, browner and poorer, they figure he can give them less headaches, because they've already conditioned the students, staff and parents in the NEC to have low expectations of MCPS.[/quote]

Doesn't Mooney have experience in SpecEd? Does Blake have a higher Spec Ed student population compared to other HS around that area? Is it a smaller high school? Silver Creek Middle went/goes to BCC and Silver Creek had/has an autism program.[/quote]
