Eating less and losing weight make perfect sense for improving triglycerides assuming PP had a BMI that indicated a need for weight loss, likely with fewer side effects. My elderly mom was on statins and had lots of sleep disturbances including sleepwalking that resulted in falls with head injuries. We just stopped them...she only had a borderline need anyway.[/quote]
