The group is usually very diverse - Koreans, Chinese, Indians, Jews, East European/Russian, White, Africans, South American etc,  - yes, some races are overrepresented  but the individuals within the group are very much within the subculture.

Go to any school or college - jocks are hanging out with jocks, the artsy kinds are hanging out with other artysy kinds, goths with goths, nerds with nerds.  [/quote]
