It’s not so much the blocking traffic as the possibility/fear of being dragged out of your car by a mob and being beaten perhaps to death. Reginald Denny has been blowing spit bubbles and crapping in a plastic bag every day since the Rodney King riots, and all he ever did was stop when a crowd surrounded his truck. For his “crime” of being on the road where a “protest” was happening, he got lifelong brain damage. I don’t want to wind up like Reginald Denny because some protester gets mad at me for existing and pulls me out of my car and hits me in the head with a brick. I’m definitely driving over you if you try to block my car.
60 year old women in pussy hats and people standing around singing Native American and holding “No Kings” signs threatens you that much? The snowflake mentality of beta C$ck MAGA men never fails to amaze me. Glad I married a liberal who is a real man and wouldn’t be terrified enough by peaceful protestors to… kill them. But, he’s not a beta and is confident in his ability to take care of himself and our family— without panicked, knee jerk violence. Can’t imagine being married to such a terrified snowflake beta. A good time to remind you at as I’d yesterday 0 No kings protestors (out of 11 million) had been arrested for…anything. 35+ counterprtestors (MAGA) had been arrested for violence against No Kings protestors?
Fake fear of the “radical left“ is your excuse for murder. How do you live with yourself with that kind of mentality. There is no such thing as a Trump derangement syndrome (MAGA propaganda), but there sure seems to be a Dem Derangement syndrome. Get therapy.
DP Why stand in front of the car of some stranger who has nothing to do with what you’re protesting, and ruin their day? Why make them part of your drama? If they were interested in your protest, they’d be there. But they aren’t, for whatever reason, and are just trying to go about their lives. But when you stand in front of their car in traffic and confine them there, you are in effect unlawfully detaining them and kidnapping them. You cannot do that to people. Under no circumstances is that ok. It’s a violent act to do that to someone, regardless of how peaceful you think your protest is. And when confronted with violence there are going to be people who respond with violence in-kind.
How to you look at yourself in the mirror with this kind of rational in your brain. You are a sociopath who I hope is far away from other humans in your daily life.
I actually agree with the poster above. Blocking traffic will not win you any fans. It's a safety issue. Also, the people most likely hurt from being stuck in traffic are lower income workers who cannot afford to be late to their jobs or people in need of emergency responders.
That may all be true. So, let the police arrest them. That’s fine. Sometimes civil disobedience has consequences. What’s concerning but surprising no one is the people positively giddy about finding a protesting in the roadway so they can murder a lib.
