Sorry you can’t hear in the back. The goal of immersions is NOT language fluency. I’ve explained this upthread. Go read up on the benefits of immersion.

Sorry you don’t understand that money is not unlimited and we should select programs that provide high value and serve many kids. Immersion doesn’t seem to meet the criteria. Unfortunately it has powerful advocates that won’t let common sense prevail.[/quote]

Your reply is to the wrong post. I said nothing about whether money should be spent on immersion. Some here do not understand the goals of immersion (and create their own goals which don’t align with what the schools’ goals are).[/quote]
