I "hooked up" a bunch in college, but did not have sex, including oral sex until I was 20/21 in a serious relationship. I was the last of my college friends to have sex, most had by the time they started Freshman year or else shortly thereafter. This was 25 years ago. [/quote]

Geography makes a different.  Deep south and I too waited till middle of college but was the only one of my friends who did. Lots of sex in the deep south, beginning at about age 14.  My friend group did pretty much exclusively sleep with long term boyfriends in high school and college or, very occasionally, with boys they wanted to be long term boyfriends.  We did a lot of necking and fooling around with boys we "kind of" liked but it never went that far. This was the early 90s.  Oral would have always happened after actual sex in long term relationships.

I had one friend who did the causal sex thing on 2 or 3 occasions in early college.  She was playing a part of the bad, fun girl though and it was very exploitative in my opinion, not at all empowering.  She also was my only friend who had a drinking problem.[/quote]
