Taka is not AI though, at least not completely. The games are watched by actual people and there is a specific rating system that they follow. Not making this up but apparently they hire a number of Eastern Europeans. There was an article/interview with the creators.

I wonder if they will share the individual ratings with the players themselves. It seems unfair for scouts and coaches to have access to all that information when the players don’t have it themselves. How do we know what is a good rating? Or what is the average number of significant plays?

I also wonder if players who are thought to be good players are getting the expected number of significant and top plays. Or are a lot of players being humbled?[/quote]
