China is itching to “reunite” Taiwan. It will be tougher on Taiwan than Hong Kong (and Macao), which it has subdued. The CHIPS act in theory is preparing us for a future “without” Taiwan. What we aren’t preparing for is the humanitarian crisis that will ensue in Taiwan. It may not be abused as much as Gaza but it will be abused. If Taiwan falls, will North Korea breach the DMZ and shake things up in the south?[/quote]
