The whole MAHA concept is idiotic. Why is it the government’s business whether people are healthy or not?
It is sorta in the US Constitution, that pesky document that guides the values of our country.
I mean, I am for EPA and safe drinking water and other ways the government can help us with environmental factors. But how does the constitution specifically point to government hand in personal health?
"
I don't need to Google that. It's about defending the nation. It's defense and taxes. That is quite a stretch google "general welfare clause I'm dying 😆😆😆
Why would anyone even want to live in and pay taxes to a country that can’t provide basic public health measures?
Basic public health measure does not equal MAHA. And it's not what the general welfare clause even refers to But take that aside.. it goes against all public health measures to reduce scientific funding, limit access to vaccines, denied germ theory.. and legally, it goes against public health measures to remove fluoride from water and reverse course on pfas in water.
The Secretary of Health, the Trump nominee head of the CDC, and the Surgeon General, are all NOT currently licensed to practice medicine. Susan Monarez (acting CDC director and the nominee for head of the CDC), is not even a physician. She would be the first CDC director in more than 70 years without a medical degree. The head of the NIH is not currently a practicing physician and has never completed clinical training beyond medical school. This is so tragic for the country.
