Palestinians/Hamas killed 1200 Jews. Their charter is to kill all Jews if possible!  So why would Israelis not want to remove/kill then people who want to kill them?  Very different.

"Jews remade Germany in their own image" is a pretty wild thing to say (Jews had lived in Germany for centuries before the 1920s, why would they suddenly have "remade" it into the Weimar Republic?), and you're very close to implying that German Jews deserved what they got in the Holocaust. I don't think that's really got anything to do with the current war in Gaza, but I do think it's quite offensive.[/quote]
