OP,what is your goal weight? I had to laugh at your original post because 167 is my dream weight. I wouldn't consider that 'fat' at all at 5'7. I'm currently at 186 and would love to be in the 160s. I started well over 200 though so any weight that begins with a 1 feels like a huge accomplishment to me. I have found that below the 200 threshold, every pound lost makes a huge difference for me unlike before when I could lose 15+ pounds and not see any changes.
Op here, honestly I don’t have a goal weight. I know I posted pounds lost, but that’s that one data point I’m using to see how my lifestyle changes (nutrition and exercise) are affecting my body. Everything is relative. For the past ten years, I have been carrying a LOT of fat in my stomach area. Not only do I not like this (clothes don’t me well and I look like I’m pregnant), I know it means I have a lot of visceral fat around my organs. I have a family history of several diseases, and I’m trying to minimize my risk of these diseases. I am also really motivated to age well, to maximize my quality years. This has been the biggest motivator!
