There are other options. Cologuard and a yearly test you can do. Send in a sample each year. If either of these come up with something, colonoscopy is next.

Cologuard is better than doing nothing but is not as accurate and is designed to detect not prevent.  With a colonoscopy they will take our precancerous polyps if they see any.

A colonoscopy is an inconvenience for sure and not the most pleasant life experience but it is really not a big deal at all.  It is nuts to me that people avoid these tests.  We are so lucky to live in a time and place where this is available to us.   [/quote]
