Even as infants, girls are more resilient to stressors and do better when, for example, a parent dies. Boys, because of their single X chromosome, are more likely to have genetic disorders and many disabilities. I think there’s a lot going on, but I think it begins bery early and isn’t easily solved. We are living in a time of pollution, microplastics, endocrine disruptors, etc. You only have to look at the rise in ADHD in preschool boys (even at outdoorsy crunchy preschools) to see that something is different.[/quote]
