Trump is trying to invoke laws that are meant to only be used in exigent circumstances, when the U.S. is at war. He is trying to establish that he is judge, jury, and sentencer. You should 💯 NOT be ok with this. If he is able to send Abrego Garcia to El Salvador without due process against the order of the court, he will be able to send you, your kids, your parents,  or anyone he wants gone. This is how authoritarian leaders got rid of scientists, poets, artists, etc. They started out getting rid of “dangerous” people without due process and then expanded it to whoever they wanted, because no one stopped them.

Abrego Garcia’s case is about all of us. This is not China. This is not Russia. In the U.S., everyone is supposed to have due process.
