[/quote] Yes! The reply that OP considers "bragging" is so much more informative and potentially helpful. Why the heck would anyone reply "yes" to Did your kid have a summer job? It is implied that more details are requested. Even for the first SAT question, giving the score is informative [b]because it gives people an idea of what scores kids are ultimately happy with, and how many tries it took to get to that point[/b].
