Just stop it. He’s my dependent and lives in my home and has not graduate from hs yet.  I asked him 4 times to look for these slacks.  He claimed he did.  Even went to the dry cleaners to see if they were there. I don’t want to have to buy more dress pants.  I bought the duffle bag and the clothing in it.  I’ve not looked in a bag or in his things for years and sure don’t do so in a snooping way.  So just stop with your holier than others attitudes. [/quote]

This is a way to teach two lessons. If he HAD looked, you would've never found the toy. I think it's up to your/his comfort level if you bring up the toy, but if you tell him where you found it - he's likely bright enough to surmise the rest. It's the kind of lesson that there may need to be zero discussion, but he will never ever forget. All us adults have them, right??[/quote]
