But ONLY if he thinks he’d be happy to be there after sustaining a (hypothetical!) career-ending injury.

The fact is, so many of these high school kids are flattered and excited to be “recruited” by college coaches, and the peer pressure to “commit” to a school is real.

Try hard to get your son to think about the rest of the college experience before making a decision. And see if he can talk to a few guys on the UT club lacrosse team. It may be more than enough to satisfy his appetite for lacrosse. [/quote]
