PP. I don’t know if these people are nurturing some sort of romantic vision of the U.S. as a grand manufacturing nation with women going to work like Rosie the Riveter, but I agree, it’s bizarre. I would say that when Main Street is affected, people will see the light, but I think that is assuming too much logical thinking.

Will be interesting to see what happens with trump’s appeal to cut interest rates. The March numbers obviously don’t reflect liberation day. Cutting rates when inflation is still high and likely to rise due to tariffs -  not good. [/quote]
