How to do that all by May 1 including spring break in there. Ugh.[/quote] The HOPE is one of the most important parts. It’s where teachers get to say their peace and it is very valued. You should get the HOPE score. Likely the subjects weren’t checked and the teacher did not indicate that your child needs extra opportunities for enrichment. For most high scoring kids who don’t get in I think it comes down to the HOPE. Also if the teacher samples of work are not really showing unique skills that hurts the packet. When my son got in he didn’t have great scores but his teacher checked every box as needing extra extensions because he was advanced in every subject.[/quote]
