It takes a lot longer than a month to see results with weight training. If you have the money for drugs, you have the money to hire a trainer. Not to show you what to do (since you day you already know), but to impose discipline. I lift with a trainer 2x per week not because I couldn't lift on my own at this point but because I know, after living with myself for 55 years, that I WON'T lift on my own. So I pay someone to schedule time with me, and since I don't want to be rude, I show up and lift. Best thing I've ever done for myself (and I feel extremely lucky to be able to afford it).
I did the same as this PP… Pay a trainer to lift weights twice a week. Then I do it one more time at home one time a week, but at least I know I get too really good sessions. At this point in life, lifting is not optional and the only way I knew I could do it was with a trainer. To the OP… You may not even actually need to lose fat, just gain muscle, and your stats will shift. Work out with heavyweights and need as much protein and fiber as you can. The rest will take care of itself. What you need to do is relatively easy relative to the many people who have true weight issues.
Thanks PP for your advice and for not including an insult in your comment. I appreciate it.
