US Gestapo in plain sight. That has got to be some scary shit. Six dudes roll up on you and put on mask and then throw you in the back of a sedan. You will never be seen or heard from again. I remember watching movies like Schindler's List and damn this was a reminder of how all that started. Same story, different victims, different authoritarian government, but all in all the beginning is the same. I pray the ending is different, but people are remaining silent like they did in the 1930's.
Oh the irony of this. Back in the 1930s it was the Jews that were on those lists. Now they are the ones creating them. It's a shame, their people were given a second chance. But rather than taking it, they are commiting the same injustices that were committed to them now to the Palestinians, an others.
Shut up with this already. Canary Mission attacks Jews as well as others. It is not supported by the vast majority of American Jews, is not affiliated with any Jewish organization, and is not even supported by the majority of pro-Israel organizations. Its operators are completely unknown. It is, like all of the current extreme attempts to silence criticism of Israel, most of which by the way are MAGA and evangelical-associated, the worst possible thing for Jews.
I agree with you that evangelical and racist POS loon support for Israel are major parts of the problem … however: The mere fact that Israel touts itself as “the Jewish state” and continues to engage with the rest of the world in utterly contemptible ways (relentless Hasbara campaigns, targeting groups and individuals critical of Israel’s policies and actions to deprive them of their rights and/or liberty, corrupting U.S. politicians, doxxing private citizens, false flag attacks, endless conflict with its neighbors if the U.S. isn’t paying those neighbors off, social media videos of IDF personnel mocking harm caused to innocents, price tag attacks on occupied land, Israeli citizens blocking and/or poisoning critical humanitarian aid, and on and on) … anyone who supports these kinds of maladaptive behaviors is rightfully considered contemptible. So when Israel’s leaders refuse to acknowledge the gap between merely “being Jewish” and Israel, and when a Jewish American is anything less than pretty much full throated in their condemnation of everything listed above, it’s kinda weird for such people to try to distance themselves from the blowback.
